Any updates on Tony? This was last that I saw:

what did Danny White say or do to make Tony V go from standing on the sidelines at every football and basketball game, poised to turn TN Baseball into a long-term dynasty, Screaming how great it was to be a VFL, to now most likely jumping ship when we are sky high to go "manage" a pro team in Cali?

he won't recruit anymore, he won't develop players anymore, he won't be able to live the college experience anymore, he'll just collect a paycheck, lean against the pole in the dugout spitting sunflower seeds, and make sure the correct lineup is on the field that was drafted and paid...

I'm still on about the officiating. Everytime they get momentum a "self inflicted" penalty happened. It's the same every week. Many of the 5 yard penalties were complete B's at the start of the game and it got worse from there. As Heupel said last week. Those "penalties" change how a game is called

Probably make playoffs beating a contending vandy and Oklahoma and a hot Florida team in the swamp

we aren't beating any of those teams unfortunately at this point and you better watch out this coming weekend at Kroger field...

I hate to be negative but I don’t think there is a a snowball’s chance of winning out. I’m concerned that the team spirals, especially if Ag’s injury causes him further issue.

We don’t lose at home unless it’s UGA. Haven’t lost to anyone not named UGA since 2021. Only worry is Florida as we are awful on the road. Hope they give up soon.

I mean is there anything you’ve watched the past 3 games that shows you he has what it takes to win in Gainesville? Hell, in my book the Kentucky game is now 50/50. The only reason I think we pull that off is because they’re still Kentucky and will find a way to screw up in the end.

If you haven't seen anything the last 3 games that is clear evidence that UT can win in Gainesville then you should probably recognize that you are not smart enough to know what you are looking for or you are not emotionally removed enough from what you are watching to evaluate what you are looking for.

This is why I hope and believe he won’t jump. You have a very real likelihood of being able to create one of the greatest dynasties in college baseball history with an unprecedented amount of wins and championships and the keys to a city and all the relationships you could ever hope for VS the unlikely potential of being successful at the pro level (which means regular .500+ seasons and hoping for some post season success) and you still probably end up fired within 5-10 years and nothing more to show for it.

I’m one of the first to call out bad officiating and something still needs to be done about it.

But last night wasn’t about officiating. It was coaching and talent. Bama is just better than us in all phases. It’s a crappy reality.

didn’t watch the game yesterday, what was the play calling on defense? Zone vs man? Did we blitz at all?

We did blitz and we ran man and 1-rat a couple times. I think we ran cover 1 robber a couple times. We blitzed boo in the middle at least once. We had success doing these things for the most part. Not sure why we didn't do it more.

I’m pissed. I’m angry. And I’m gonna be realistic. From now until the end of November, we can easily run the table to go 10-2 OR we can just as easily lose 4 more games to go 6-6.

That UK game is going to be tougher than we’re wanting to admit, OU will be a hard one to win, UF is in Gainesville and I’ve personally already checked that as a loss, and then there’s Vandy, who will want nothing more than to beat us during Pavia’s final college game. So 6-6 is very reasonable.

Heupel doesn’t need to be fired, but it is frustrating to be five years into his tenure and still watching undisciplined football. Going into the game, most people mentioned the importance of not beating yourself because Alabama doesn’t make mistakes. They don’t turn the ball over. And they play clean football.

I know there is still a talent gap, but it’s not massive. We didn’t lose because of talent issues. We lost because we still can’t get the fundamentals right. I need to see Heupel make some type of change on the staff this off-season to show that these mistakes need to be fixed and he’s doing something about it.

Was hoping the influx of talent on both sides would put us in a position to beat Ga and Bama. Defense aside, I had us at 9-3.

Before the season I said I would be content with 9-3. I need to be consistent with that. I didn’t expect to win yesterday but I thought the score would be closer. After touching grass and the emotions subsiding. We are right where I thought we would be and with some good breaks 9-3 is still achievable.

Our starting defense is all junior and seniors in the front. Moi, Bailey, Eason, Hobbs, Joseph’s, Carter, Telander. Turrentine is a senior and hood is technically a junior.

They're not deep though, especially along the interior

Heupel doesn’t need to be fired, but it is frustrating to be five years into his tenure and still watching undisciplined football. Going into the game, most people mentioned the importance of not beating yourself because Alabama doesn’t make mistakes. They don’t turn the ball over. And they play clean football.

I know there is still a talent gap, but it’s not massive. We didn’t lose because of talent issues. We lost because we still can’t get the fundamentals right. I need to see Heupel make some type of change on the staff this off-season to show that these mistakes need to be fixed and he’s doing something about it.

Heupel is fine. He needs to make some major changes to his staff. We have to get more disciplined and better position coaches at spots.
