Wright? He gets burned on every rep. The other freshman dbs? We don’t have any other bodies to play.

Not sure why Bishop went for the hesitation move. He would have caught him. He was still trailing when the guy did that. If he just runs through him, he gets him down.

Agree. UT had more yards, more first downs; turnovers and TOP were equal and nearly equal. That INT and return is the difference

Smh I woke up and thought about how long the defensive staff has let Redmond remain out there to get exposed and beat every week as a true freshman and how maybe they have ruined that kids confidence for good.
I’d be interested to see how his career plays out. the staff has to save him from himself and put someone else out there to save him from his teammates and it should have been done much earlier than week 8

Then you want to keep rewarding lack of effort and missed tackles and blown assignments. The quickest way to lose everyone is to not hold one or two players to the standard while the team suffers bc of it.
Play anyone. Put a body out there. You can coach around guys who give effort. There’s nothing you can do to help people who don’t want “it” as bad as everyone else

It was a bad effort. And he’s still the best option of the options we have. Both can be true.

I am sure he’ll hear about it this week with it being blasted on social media. Heck looked like west or someone was giving him grief right after it happened.

I agree. I have been pining for a 5star bc and/or safety. Don’t know what it’s going to take to start landing some of those, or if the staff even values the positions enough to pursue that. Maybe they just want to hit the portal for that (McCoy, hood), but then we need twice as many as we’re pulling with that strategy.

Again , lack of accountability from the coaches. You think it don’t stick in guys’ heads that someone is allowed to play after skipping an entire summer workout grouping.
Notice, no one celebrates with boo if and when he makes a play, notice no one runs to help him up.
I was literally 23’s biggest fan last year, and I feel like he should have been removed from the team
This team is begging to be held accountable, and the guys with the polos aren’t doing so
