We will have a good defensive game and some will say banks isnt that bad. Uk’s offense makes every defense look better than it actually is

Oklahoma concerns me because they have an elite defense and a good QB. But hopefully they finally grant us a night game. I feel confident we can beat them though regardless.

Mateer is overrated. He got over hyped from a huge first game and then beating Michigan. He has as many INT’s as TD’s. I think he’s talented but OU’s offense sucks and holds him back. Venables is Florida will muschamp

I genuinely dont see how anyone can say with a straight face that after the way we played tonight and last week that we can beat Oklahoma, florida and Vanderbilt

Oklahoma will run the ball against us if they’re smart. I am concerned they may be the best defense we play this year. I expect it to be a stressful game.

Vandy we should win at home, even if it’s closer than it should be.

UF, well you know the drill. Probably won’t have a coach when we play them and it will be our hardest game of the year somehow.

Basically sums up my thoughts, it’s just time to admit heup cant coach on the road, it seems like every meaningful road game under him at night we have looked completely unprepared for

How many coaches are consistently good on the road in big games? We need the list to be able to compare to what’s out there.

Can't have a 14pt swing at halftime when they get the ball after half

Have to convert after a takeaway

Don't let them go 99 yards

Don't give 10 yard coverage cushions on 3rd down

Wrap up

Quit making pre-snap penalties

Don't waste timeouts

Play talented freshman

Send the coaches the memo

I’ll also say I thought DeBoer was not the guy for bama… then after fsu game definitely thought he wasn’t the guy. But the man is now 19-3 vs ranked teams and just beat 4 top 15 teams in consecutive weeks. He may be legit

Welp, huepel is great but that sequence at the half is going to be tough to get over.

Absolutely can’t run the ball on 1st down, need to save the timeout to keep you two dimensional. 2nd down is obvious passing down and with 9 seconds left and you come out in heavy. They take a timeout and you know they’re telling their guys to watch for play action due to the time in the clock. Come out of the timeout in heavy, and run play action. Joey throws a terrible ball and that’s ball game.

Halzle looked like he was playing video games and just saw a guy glitch 10 yards to make a play. It never even crossed his mind. He was flabbergasted. And that can’t happen.

These guys up in the booth talking through headsets and not communicating simple situational football stuff like that. One yard shoulda done roll out and throw away if not there or just run it for god sake. We shouldn’t be afraid of running it from the one against anyone. It’s a matchup we shouldn’t win every time. Bring kitz in, bishop/Lewis behind him, up the gut and over if you have to. Not that hard.

Teams are not disciplined but he’s a good play caller and knows how draw up a good game plan and make the right calls when he needs to.

Mateer got rushed back stupidity. But when healthy he is very good. And OU has solid WRs. Now they can’t run the ball worth **** though. I just fear them shredding us through the middle of the defense like everyone else has this year

Heupel will be judged against what he does against the big 3. Fair or not, he has to beat this Florida team to make this season a positive. 9-3 will look pretty good but gotta beat a hated rival. We got many rivals, but Georgia, Bama, and Florida are all that matter.

Can’t go 0-3 on those. Need to be going at least 2-1 to be a “success”. If we lost to a coachless sub 500 Florida team, board your windows and don’t go out in public for a few days. It could be really ugly.

The refs checked out when bama went up 37-20. Clearly letting it play out without calling things unless they’re were slap you in the face obvious. Numerous lining up in the neutral zone or offside no calls. It was clear they accomplished their mission and didn’t care anymore.
