When that pick 6 happened I told my daughter the game was over and I’ve watched this movie in Tuscaloosa before

But the team showed some real fight from there

I’ve seen plenty of Tennessee teams fold up the tent and take a forty point loss after moments like that. They deserve credit for fighting.

This team has the mentality to win any game. The injuries in the cornerback room and the atrocious calls on defense are mainly what has held it back. Second is the questionable clock management/calls on offense at inopportune times this year which the calls part is weird for Heupel. He did such a good job transforming the offense for this year but in key moments he has made some bad play calls. The clock management thing has always showed up from time to time over the years and really should be fixed by now. Still glad we have Heupel and grateful for what he’s done. Just have to hope these things improve while the talent on the roster does or it’ll be a waste of all the talent that is coming in. I have faith he will make those improvements. He also needs to let some people go on the defensive side of the ball (cough cough Banks).

Oh and also drops have killed drives this year. Receivers did a great job learning new routes/scheme for this year but idk wth is going on with the drops.

Ive never seen coaches switch things up as much as we do,

Then the gameplan tonight, we didnt go fast at all or ever, what is this low and slow crap? Thats not what Heupel was built on. Our best chance was a shootout.

Im not saying get rid of heupel-cause that’s stupid, but every coordinator, position coach, and starter (yes even aguilar) needs to be evaluated. We struggle with covering, tackling, lbs look lost almost every pass play, wrs cant catch, tes cant catch, bad play cals on both sides— like that screen on 3rd and 10 with 3 minutes left and then burning a to

Alright so we probably ain’t winning out so it doesn’t matter, but you can bet there will be carnage and chaos and a strong likelihood we would sneak in. Better start with winning the next two, which won’t be easy.

We're capable of beating anyone with our talent. We just can not make those same mistakes every week. Heupel needs to clean up his playcalling and players have to start making the easy plays and stop making catastrophic errors. We were never beating them by 14. That pick 6 sealed our fate.

Thank God Mizzou will drop a couple more looking at their schedule. Realistically I could see Georgia, Bama, A&M, Ole Miss and possibly us getting in. If we win out and quit looking like **** in the process I like our chances.

I absolutely hate that we sub offensive lineman throughout the game. Reminds me of those Pruitt years. We need to stick with the 5 going into Syracuse week before Sanders got hurt. Sham averages 3 false start per game anyway.
