Red Zone offense cost the game

It seems our offense is set up for big plays and long TD passes not necessarily close field position scoring. However, against lesser teams, we have been successful bullying our way in for TD’s running the ball close to the goaline.

It's a flaw in this offensive scheme. It's very predictable without the threat of a QB run. This QB doesn't run much and can't really hurt you with his feet..

Another flaw in this offense that I have notice there's no counter plays no reverses, etc. and it's to predictable.

I’m sure Aguilar would have ran more today if his head didn’t get sandwiched by two helmets on that early drive. Really should have been looked at for targeting cause looked like they led with their helmets there. At least the one that came in from Joey’s right did.

Coaching lost you that game coaching lost you the UGA game and almost cost you the Mississippi state game. It's year 5 need to stop blaming the execution of the players and blame the coaches who coach the execution or lack thereof. 6-6 is on the table but my guess is more 7-5

halzle went back to the screen a billion times. that end of the half play call and result took his confidence a bit

That WR screen is terrible and every time we line up wide with stacked wide receivers on one side the defense knows its coming. It worked in 2022, teams have caught on to it since then. The play needs to be thrown into the trash can.

Edit: And I'd also add that it only worked in 2022 because you had a true run threat at QB and Bru McCoy, a huge WR who could lay that initial block well.

THE flaw in this offense is it disappears in the 2nd half of games. It’s been this way for years. The other side makes defensive adjustments at the half and our offensive people act like they‘ve never seen or heard of that concept.
