This is hilarious. This team is going nowhere. Not next week, certainly not the week after or the week after. 3 more losses coming.

Didn’t say that. I don’t know the answer. But I don’t think we have a championship football program. We have a good program but not an elite program. And, I don’t think Heup can get us there but I wouldn’t fire him now.

I’m quite thankful we’re not FSU right now at Stanford. Or auburn. Or SCar. Or KY. Or LSU. Now that’s a fan base that has a right gripe straight up.

Hey. 4.5 seasons in and we’ve already been to one CFP.

The Bama offense scored 24 points against Georgia, 30 points against Vandy and 26 points against us. The other 9 points were from the Bama defense and were not their offense scoring points against our defense.

Only solace I have tonight is that Clemson lost at home to SMU.
I wouldn’t be surprised if there was a U-Haul outside of Dabo’s house

Everyone loved Banks last season. We had a terrible offense and awesome defense. McCoy allowed us to blitz and get after the QB. We lost two starting corners; one before season began. Redmond is playing well for a Freshman, but he is a backup and freshman. We have mediocre safeties and We have mediocre LBs. Young LBs are getting a lot of playing time and that bodes well for the future. Be honest with yourself, we are not loaded with talent like Georgia or Alabama or Ohio State where next man up is about the same as starters. Injuries are still major setbacks. Banks and Martinez can only coach what they have. When have we had a top 3 recruiting class in SEC? Yes, we look lost at times, but it’s mostly lack of execution and mental discipline. Who do we bench to make an example of in the secondary?

Face it, Alabama was a much better team than us. Their O Line was superb pass blocking. We could not get pressure on Simpson and we can’t blitz because we cannot cover some of the best WR in the country. We’re not there yet regardless of how bad you want us to be a NC caliber team.

Couldn't have said it better. Totally mind-blowing. Tackling a 245 RB by the shoulders? Leaning into RBs? Strange techniques for sure.

At some point you have to stop blaming coaches and blame the players on the field. Aguilar throws one interception for every two touchdowns. Receivers have missed passes all year long and dropped them. There's no reason why you shouldn't be expecting a short pass on 3rd and two. You have to remember these young men are young. They are not professionals but learning how to be losing games like this or unfortunate but necessary teachers. It sucks to be a fan and watch those lessons being taught. I do not blame the coach. Throwing the ball at goal line was stupid. Bad decision from the quarterback. Letting Alabama have a 99 yard touchdown drive is unacceptable, The defense has to step up there. Spotty calls by The officials which is always the case anytime you play in Alabama. But at the end of the day our boys just didn't step up. Don't go on a coach headhunt because our boys laid an egg.

I'll end this by saying a Tennessee Vols fans favorite saying: "We'll get em next year."

And the season continues....

Sure they will. The way teams are dropping right now. We win out with losses to only GA and Bama and we could go again this year with way teams are playing out right now. We’d be a bubble team getting in. But win out and the money and fans we’d bring to a game and we’d get a shot at getting in.

The game was over when they through that pick six on the goaline. Just an inexcusable catastrophic series of events.

We have problems in the red zone and the offense can’t ever get a drive going when the defense manages to get a turnover.

This is the worst tackling football team I’ve seen in a long long time. Its pretty clear that tackling technique is not being taught in practice.

There is entirely too much talent on the defense for them to be having these kinda of issues. Too much of it is stuck on the sidelines behind incumbent starters who the staff “trust.”

This team is going 8-4 with losses to Vandy and Oklahoma upcoming.
