We beat ourselves tonight. Bama is beatable, the 14 point turnaround was huge and the safety should have never happened. We might have lost still, but it should have been a lot closer. We got to learn to do the little things right and got to cut out bad drive killing mistakes. Having said all that. We can win out and we need too. If we do we have a shot at making the playoffs. Kitselman drops way too many passes. Pre snap penalties are ridiculous. We got to quit beating ourselves and develop a killer instinct when we get up in games. Exactly. 2021 shouldn’t even be relevant in this discussion either . That was Bama coming off a National title and us coming out of the Pruitt debacle. We’re a good football program, but tonight sucked. And it sucks when it starts at the top . This was CJH’s worst game as HFC at Tennessee. He’s a smart, very competitive guy and I don’t think he’s the kind of guy that takes things lightly. We still have opportunities in front of us, hopefully JA will be ok and we can get better.

Football team has 10 win seasons in 2 of the last 3 years (the other 9 wins) with an Orange Bowl victory and made the playoffs last year (losing the eventual nationa champion).

Basketball team has made 7 straight NCAAT with 2 Sweet 16s and 2 straight Elite Eights in a row for the most successful stretch in our history.

Lady Vols basketball is still making Sweet 16s and Caldwell has the team on the rise.

Baseball has made 6 straight NCAATs with 3 CWS appearances in that time and oh yeah won the 2024 National Championship.

Lady Vols softball has made about 20 straight NCAAT appearances, 3 straight Super Regionals and 2 of the last 3 WCWS.

I think every year is a rebuilding year. Our defensive line was sucking air. Out of shape. Too soft on them. Should be running sprints after practice. Should have them out there tomorrow running sprints.
