And hire….. who, lol?

I think we’ve seen his ceiling as a coach but wanting him fired is asinine
Idk man but he’s not the guy. I’m tired of seeing the same issues with his team year after year. Throw the fanbase a bone and fire some staff just to show you have a pulse. He’s complacent and completely unwilling to adjust. Find someone that will. I’m not paid millions of dollars to figure this out.

Putting all his eggs into the Nico basket and him bailing after spring blew this year up. Aguilar has been good but face it, he wasn't highly recruited for a reason. You've seen his offense with a really good QB (Hooker), it's awesome. As for the defense, if changes aren't made after this year, it will absolutely be his downfall. Even with injuries, there are no excuses. Being out of position constantly, awful tackling etc. The talent isn't THAT bad, maybe not elite, but nowhere near next to last in the conference bad.

The consensus opinion of JH by people who don't see the world through orange glasses is he's a good coach, better than what we've had, but will never compete for championships and never move ahead of the elite teams. He's now 2-3 against AL, 0-5 against GA (2-2 against FL). And hasn't played for a championship. What say you?

Y’all are hilarious. Tennessee was never going to win this game and they did about like every one predicted. Alabama is a better team than Tennessee at virtually every position. With that being said, Banks isn’t the answer and neither is Halzle. Heupel is a good coach in a conference full of good coaches and Tennessee would be crazy to get rid of Heupel but he does need to get rid of a couple assistants

They need better players on defense period. How many times have we fired coaches around here only to have a similar result?

Honestly, our schedule this year has been easy. Only played 2 ranked teams, but still give up 38 a game in SEC play.
Yea but last year we really only played 2-3 good to elite offenses and 2 of them easily moved the ball on us and looked like this game.
So far This year we've played probably 4 so far. hence why we've given up 40 points a game.

Not sold on being a big time recruiting team. That is the real issue. We had no juice out there tonight. No touchdown scorers. No interceptors. Needed more players making plays. The qb had two obvious mistakes but there was really no one to turn to when the going got tough. Dropped passes everywhere. By starters and backups. Total cloisterfock.

Beginning to wonder if Hendon made him look good, and let's face it Hendon would have never started unless Milton got hurt.

He needs to make some staff firings. I 100% agree there. Banks, Martinez and Inge have got to go. Leave em in Tuscaloosa.

But look man. Firing Heupel himself would be absurd. Who would we even get that’s truly better? James Franklin, who has the exact same inability to win the big one on the road? Lane, who is yet to even make a playoff game?

We’re all mad at this man, but let’s not get too carried away.

He can be an Elite coach. He needs to fix his end of half/game time management and be willing to change up his staff when it's necessary. Having a good defense 1 out of 5 years isn't going to get it done.

When did the football program get all scholarships back, and isn't that a part of why it's taking time to build a talented roster from top to bottom?

Buncha sad sorry babies… did our team look like they gave up like you complainers? Nope!!!

They believed and played with fight until the end because… they believed.

Heupel went all in right before the half… hero or zero. That’s the way that works when stakes are high. He would have been a zero to most if he didn’t on the road behind…

Did we have some major setbacks at the beginning of the season? QB, CBS… yeahhh but lighten up boys. Did you think we would have a fun game tonight after the preseason setbacks???NOOO. I wasn’t sure either but its been fun so far

Keep him, but force a defensive change. The who group (Players and Coaches) are soft and make mental mistakes constantly.

I'm not calling for him to be fired. But he's not going to make many (if any) staff changes. He doesn't do that. Hell, Martinez is still here.

Scholarship reductions don’t have anything to do with

1 Constantly being out of position on D
2 Poor special teams
3 Constantly false starting
4 Dropped passes

Once we fix those get back to me about the scholarship situation.

Grasping at straws to justify getting whipped on the scoreboard, the only thing that matters.

I said, from the beginning, that he is the place holder to get us through probation and leveled out for the next coach.

At this point, we gotta look to upgrade in staff. We got the money. Go steal a defensive guru. Give him 2 more years to have a complete team. The problem is we always lack on one side of the ball
