Bad play calling cost us those points! Run the dang ball and quit trying to be cute with crap! defense wasn’t as bad as usual tonight, but they really couldn’t be because bad play calling did us in instead.

Last year we had an extremely weak schedule. That’s why we were as successful. Lost to the only two good teams on the schedule.

I agree because the idiot Heupel decided to call one of the most dumb play calling games in his career. We could have ran all over that Bama team, instead we trying to be cute throwing the ball when we didn’t have to.

Joey had a bad game, the pick six hurt us... but our secondary is killing us this whole season. We should've never thrown there, just run. That being said our DB's are not getting there head around on jump ball throws..

Bama was 92nd in rush defense and either top 10 or top 20 in pass D. But we needed an injured QB taking sacks to keep throwing to butterfingers matthews and kitzleman.

Not gonna be a popular take for the bloodthirsty crowd on here but the defense basically gave up 28 points tonight. While that sounds like a lot, had the offense taken care of business and even flirted with their average scoring we win. It was an incomplete game with a ton of mistakes. Four plays made all of the difference in this game in order:

1. The safety
2. The pick 6
3. The poor playcalling after the turnover (especially when Bishop was red hot and we run a WR screen)
4. The PI on the third and long when we were only down by 10 (which led to a Bama TD)

Yep I agree and time management was again an issue. The pick 6 was at a minimum a 10 point swing, JA grounding for a safety gave them 2 points and not kicking the extra point all played into this loss.

If you would have told me before kickoff off our D would have held them to 28 points I would have bet all I have on us winning.
