100%. Put Joey in shotgun so he can read the defense, tell him his one read is to Kitselman and if it's not there chuck the ball into the fourth row and take the points. You got a three and out to start the second half, Bishop scores all of a sudden you're actually winning. It was the biggest swing of the game. I remember I once read when a team gives up a pick 6 they have something like a 58% chance of losing. There's a reason why, they are huge.

Only seems dumb because it failed. Actually, not a bad call just bad execution. Everyone knew it had to be a pass. Therefore, that formation and play action was utilized to at least cast some minute amount of doubt by the defense. In doing so, it should have provided maybe a second delay in regards to responding to the pass.

The Super Bowl play call was just stupid because you had the league’s best RB on the team.

And that’s the theme for road games. It’s not that we play well but get beat by a good team. We are penalty prone and find ways to lose.

While it appears there was no one thing that doomed this team tonight, that basically was the nail in the coffin. It went from being practically a tie at the half to down 17. Add the pathetic safety earlier. The offense did as much damage to the defense as the defense did to itself.

Yeah, on 1st and goal with one timeout and little time, you throw it on first down to keep the timeout, so the threat of a run on second down keeps them honest. I think throw first, throw second, run third, timeout, run/throw or fg on 4th gives the best strategy.
