Actually the defender sold out on the play - if he had thrown the ball high and over the defender, it is a 50/50 ball and not a pick and score.

We ran a similar play last week and scored against Arkansas. That’s called good film study and coaching. They knew it was coming and just waited for it.

There was no other option. No way we run the ball there. Just a terrible play call

Common sense tells you to kick the damn FG.

Agree Heupel has a history of very suspect clock management.

Exactly and they’ve been doing their homework in the film room because they knew it was coming. That’s why they called a timeout. And instead of changing things up we came right back out with the same look. That’s pop Warner level easy.

So many of you griping about the call is plain silly. The call was fine and if Joey executed it correctly, we would be down 2 at the half. That pick 6 is 100% on Joey.
