The Official #11 Tennessee @ #6 Alabama Game Thread, 7:30 PM ET, ABC

Game is over.

TN to lose a few more.

Heupel not great and never will be.

His best coach is Garner. His offensive staff is trash. Clean house.

TN will fire Heupel before he fires anyone of his friends. lol.

And Tucker prices will increase next season.

So many of you griping about the call is plain silly. The call was fine and if Joey executed it correctly, we would be down 2 at the half. That pick 6 is 100% on Joey.
There was no “executing the play correctly” given how the defender reacted. It was never going to work.

My question is, do you not have any specially designed or trick plays? Is there nothing in your arsenal. Is that the trickiest of the trick plays that you have?
My concern is he thinks that's a smart play. When Womack knows what you're doing that concerns me
I was told here good teams don't need trick plays...but yeah we need misdirection plays

Analytics? That has nothing to do with analytics. Common sense says that you try to score a touchdown with 9 damn seconds left in the half and the ball on the one.
If we managed the clock better, sure. But you pretty much shot that wad with the clock management, which put you in a very predictable situation.
Common sense tells you to kick the damn FG.

2 options there. Go 5 wide or run it if ya don’t get spike it and dealers choice on 4th. That formation in that situation having nobody else to throw to and then throwing anyway may be the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen in college football

He didn't see the guy, D spied the whole time and jumped it.
If we were in a passing formation he would've had a better view of the field and had other options

We ran a similar play last week and scored against Arkansas. That’s called good film study and coaching. They knew it was coming and just waited for it.
