To each there own. You believe a distraction in the organization doesn't impact any employee not directly involved, more power to you. Not my observation, but I hope you are right.

And no, I don't think it's overly dramatic to say that the fans are a legit consideration when it comes to distractions. They are the customers. They do fund the sport. People using this for their own selfish purposes to capitalize on the University's exposure today is reprehensible to me. Even if it "only" upsets the fans and doesn't impact the team.

Please no Tony. Realize what you have here. The whole world in your pocket. The giants don’t care about you, they just want your success until they don’t. This whole town and fanbase is in love with you. Don’t take it for granted, stay and build your life and kingdom here.

San Fran outside of a couple pockets and golden gate area is a shithole. There’s nothing for you there like there is and could be here.

That’s why DW has to do whatever he can to keep him. He’s built this program and we’ve built around it for him. Got to keep that long term vision intact.

Yall gotta think more realistically here.

Tony is a first time HC, has built an elite program and won a national championship at 47. He is the hottest name in baseball.

If he leaves for San Francisco it has nothing to do with money or NIL or DW.

It has everything to do with “Am I good enough to do this at the highest level” and those of you that know baseball will agree a college coach with no professional experience getting an opportunity almost never happens.

So this very well could be Tony’s only shot to make this move.

It’s MLB vs College in this decision, nothing else.

If he goes, I hope he’s the best d**n manager that league has ever seen.

Because the reality is, if he fails, he’ll come back to the SEC and it probably won’t be here.
