I mean, the university committed large amounts of money to the baseball program to keep him happy, likely at the expense of football and basketball. Think it’s fair to be pissed off at the guy

He has held the school hostage for renovations, more money etc. He has had the red ass because of donations to softball et al. We’ve met every demand be has ever had and this is what he does

He took a program that was the worst in the conference and made it the best in the country. He’s been here 8 years. He didn’t leave for another college job. This is probably his only chance to ever manage at MLB, even if I think it’s an all-time dumb move. Whoever takes over is going to have an awesome opportunity because of him.

I agree. He’s an egomaniac and it absolutely blows, especially with the timing. He also won the only meaningful men’s national title for Tennessee this century. I can’t turn on the guy.
