Looking forward to a good game and a Vol Win. Things we have not done well and that have bit us are 1) mistakes by linemen, bad calls, penalties....we have to play a sound football game and minimize penalties and mistakes 2) We need our leaders to play well from start to finish. We will not have the opportunity as a road team to make up for interceptions or fumbles on offense and defense. If, big if, our coaches can call good plays, our players make great plays and score ALOT, we have a chance to win this road game. Go Vols. Remember 14 October 1995...Manning to Kent and a super duper win for the Vols 41-14 at Bama!
I agree 100%. Pre-snap penalties have been, seemingly, an issue for a few years now . . . And even more so in road games. Maybe that’s the case for most teams, but we cannot afford to get in 1st and 15 a whole lot. We can win this game by:

1. Minimizing penalties
2. Creating turnovers and maximizing scoring chances off of those turnovers
3. Running the ball well

The closest to a complete game we have played this year was probably the UGA game. We need a similar effort to that game without the 2nd quarter disappearing act.

GBO feels like our orange bowl type day
still remember all the clemson and sports talking heads how great cade clubnick will be and we had no chance after hendocinco went down.
well you still have to play the game,we made cade look ordinary at best and got to see his parents in the stands every commercial break.
mr joe milton III had a day and we stole the show.
time for joey the fireman to introduce himself as the baller he is and break some gump hearts.

Anyone care to explain why the spread moved to -9.5 Bama? That seems pretty high.

It is a money thing with these spreads. It was -7.5 most of the week.

Also, the Arkansas line moved last week on the last day. Something seems to be going on with Tennessee games this year.
