It's a beautiful day to hate Alabama.

Actually, everyday is a beautiful day to hate Alabama, but today is a particularly beautiful day to hate Alabama.

Could be a lot of chaos in front of us this weekend.

Miami lost
LSU may
A&M may
Ole Ms or UGA will lose
Texas Tech may
Alabama may

Up to 6 teams of the 10 teams in front of us could lose this weekend. It’s guaranteed that at least 2 teams lose (Miami already and either OM or UGA) will. If we can pull this one off, we will be in a great position. I’m going out on a limb and saying 4 of the top 10 lose this weekend

One important point the trolls are intentionally ignoring is that defensive play is significantly more volatile than offensive play.

Take the slot fade Georgia threw for a TD in the right side of their inside. It was either 3rd or 4th and long and the coverage was perfect. He just threw a perfect a pass, and the guy made a great catch.

Even in routes on air, they don’t make that play 100% of the time. So if they don’t make that play, how differently do you think of our defense?

The players wouldn’t be any better. The coaches wouldn’t be any better. But the perception would be drastically different.

I say all of that to say, I think this unit has an elite game in them at some point given the corner play and the dline play. Hoping that “some point” is tonight.

As much as I hate to admit it, that was just an absolute perfect pass and perfect catch on that touchdown for UGA. Nobody in college football was successfully defending that throw.

This feels like Florida 2001. Nobody gave us a chance just like today. We showed up and won that game. I know that was a million years ago. I like to black out the three stupid coaches we had between 2010-2021.

Every single commentator this week, from Crain and Company to Nick Saban just now on Gameday, talks like Tennessee's running the exact same offense they ran in 2022. Sometimes I get the sneaking suspicion that none of these guys watch nearly as much football each week as they claim.
