Miami is going to lose.

Some of you people impress me with your level of optimism. You must have blinders on. We are the only SEC team that plays Ms State that gets shredded like wet paper by their offense. We tell ourselves we beat them up for the other teams. We are the only SEC team that gets shredded against Arky offense. We again tell ourselves we beat them up. Miami would do whatever they wanted to us and we would have to hope like hell to score at will against them to stay in it. Just like a lot of us saying we will beat bama tonight. The bama team I have been watching improve for the past few weeks is not losing tonight. I’m not being a troll. I’m just using my eyes to set realistic expectations. My heart wants the win, my brain knows what I’ve seen.
You are correct 💯.

Don't know Louisville's injury status right now, but everyone is banged up some at this point. Our defense's stuggles can't just be attrobited to the loss of McCoy and Gibson. The CBs have played reasonably well. The problem has been setting the edge and stopping the run game and poor safety play. Hopefully, they turn a corner today.
The problem has actually been run support on the back end. The injuries forced some shifting. Jalen McMurray is now playing Star ( I didn't know that, but I read it on VQ). I guess Boo is playing corner? Not sure, but the injuries have definitely affected run support.

You’re referring to the MSU signature ASU win and their getting blasted by A&M, and Arkansas’ season of moral victories, aren’t you?
Nope. Syracuse was a good team before their QB got injured. Arkansas is a good team that was actually 2 plays away from being 4-1. We are one kick away from being 5-0.

Boo is playing Star, his natural position. He's not playing it well.

McMurray is also playing Star, but that's his more natural position, as well. How would injuries to outside CB move McMurray away from outside CB and inside to Star? He was going to be playing Star regardless this season. If McCoy and/or Gibson were healthy, McMurray would obviously still be at Star (and he's playing it better than Boo, TBH).

The run support issues have mostly been LB and Safety/Star. Hood has played well at outside CB and Redmond has actually played pretty well in run support. Turrentine is taking terrible angles and Farooq has more whiffs than a lineup facing Nolan Ryan. The CBs haven't been the issue.

So yes on the moral victories of Arkansas. Their schedule was soft outside of the SEC games, and they lost they gave one of those up to Memphis. Sure, Memphis is good for their conference. But, we’re responding to people saying we’d beat the best teams in the country right now. Also, Syracuse did nothing after losing to us other than beat Clemson in my eyes. I believe Clemson has already shown they are a joke this year and all they had was their name being ridden.

Probably. Should.

That being said, there isn't a ranked team left on their schedule. That might not be the best prep for the last couple of rounds of the playoffs
Technically they have not played a ranked team this year unless Texas crept into the top 25 again.
The could go the distance with out playing a ranked team. The only ranked team they played will be Texas which appears to be overrated.
Ohio State is playing a subpar Notre Dame Schedule.

Miami did lose. Should never have been ranked #2. Overhyped for sure. GBO!
Based on resume, they were ranked appropriately. A win over ND, along with easy wins against S Fla, Florida, and at FSU certainly warranted their ranking. Who had a better resume before last night? Even Ohio State’s isn’t that good.

Wait, you’re saying Bama, Miami and FSU aren’t good but Syracuse and Arkansas are?

Ha! Then who is good? I guess no one.
I honestly do think nobody’s special this year. Even Ohio State, while undoubtedly the best team right now, I don’t think is a true world beater. Every team has some huge flaw that could lead to them losing games against the right teams.

This might be the most wide open year of CFB since 2007.

They're not #2 team in the country good. Neither one of those teams were ranked appropriately. The media AND fans want to rank teams before games have even been played. Now, youre claiming that 2 teams that were ranked lower or outside of the top 25 are not as good as teams that were ranked high preseason. When my eyes tell me that FSU will go only as far as their QB will take them. He's a dual threat that is a streaky passer. Statistically, Miami is not good offensively. Their defense is ok, but they were ranked too high. Bama has 0 run game outside of Jam Miller. He is their best pas protecting back. If they cant protect TS, they will lose.

Carson beck reminds me of my drunk ncaa football 26 playing on ps5. Throws more interceptions in big games than anyone.

I haven’t said anything yet, other than Miami did deserve their ranking based on played games. Who had a better resume than them before last night? FSU has turned out not to be great and sure they go as far as the QB takes them. That’s true if a lot of teams. How can you say Arkansas is good while FSU is not though? At least FSU beat Bama. Who has Arkansas beaten to qualify them as good?

And I agree there’s no dominant team but people like to claim all these teams are not good so I’m curious who is then? According to titan, it’s apparently Syracuse and Arkansas, which makes zero sense when he says Bama and Miami aren’t. That might not be what’s saying though so I’m trying to get clarity on his thinking.

FSU beat Bama without Jam Miller. He is their engine. Arkansas is a good team. I'm not sure why that point is not sticking with you. Record wise, they've got 2 they should've won. If they win those 2 games and are sitting at 4-2 , we wouldn't even be having this conversation.

Whew...now I have someone to help me eat all that crow when UT wins.

'preciate it.
