Tried small ball too long. Kept Bergeron on the staff too long. Did not have enough power arms. West coast baseball did not work in the SEC.

Hell, Christin Stewart was bunting, and he was a good power hitter.

And yeah, facilities were bad.

For all the old folks: tell me a performance from the 60s or 70s that compares to what Ohtani just did. 3 absolute blasts on a 3-3 night and a walk.


OH, and 6 scoreless with 10 Ks.

I know Reggie hit three homers on three straight pitches. Gibson has some on the diamond gems. Multiple players with 20 Ks in a single game. But none of those compare to this imo. What performance(s) am I not aware of?

If Rusty sneaks in here he can actually talk about Ruth, Gehrig and Hornsby

Is it really happening? When the thread in the baseball forum started, I was a little concerned because of who threw his name out there.

Baggerly is a true insider and I didn’t think he would mention CTV if it didn’t come from someone with the Giants.
