His record is 9-10 on the road? There have been some disappointments but also some good performances as well. The losing streak at bama has to snap eventually.
Hope it ends this Sat. His best win on the road is against LSU. We need a straitened win so it might as well be Saturday, though I don’t think it will happen. Our D is too suspect and I’m concerned we play from behind which forces Joey to make poor decisions.

Just my opinion.

So using the "~3 points at home" generally accepted spread buffer:

-8 Bama @Tuscaloser
-5 Bama @Neutral Site
-2 bama @neyland

That seems pretty much accurate. I think -8 is a lot of points for how close Bama has beaten teams this year though.

We are definitely a flawed football team, especially on the defensive side of the ball, but let’s not pretend Bama is this world beater group. Yes they’ve won 3 tough games in a row, but this isn’t 2008-2021 Bama, they’re not winning games before they get off the bus anymore . We are very capable of going in there and winning . The defense has the ability to get stops and cause turnovers. The biggest problem for the defense is that there hasn’t been any middle ground for them. It’s either cause a turnover or get gashed. There has to be some level of consistency if we go down there and get a W.
I think going by recent play (last 2-3 games) they're the better team. I think we can beat them, but we're going to need a little help from Bama, either from turnovers or sloppy play here and there.

Our defense will cost us this game. To win we will have to "Out Score" Bama. The one good thing is that the Bama QB is not mobile and we should be able to get a few sacks.
No, no... He is sneaky quick. In a Mahomes or Baker Mayfield way. Not really KNOWN for scrambling but can and if we aren't ready for it we can definitely give up some third and longs.

You would think the spread would be 20 points from the picks. Ive watch a lot of YouTube channels and read many online articles discussing the game and so far I don’t believe I’ve seen a single person (outside of UT fans) pick UT. I hope UT lays the wood tomorrow.

Me too but don’t think it will happen. I don’t gamble, and would never bet on a TN game.
If I had to make a bet then I would take Bama and the points along with the over.

I think TN will put up two quick scores and then struggle again in the 2nd or 4rd quarter - been the norm most of the yr.

Bama will put up 37 - 41 and TN 23-31.

Some of that struggle was due to Heupel's own errors, taking his foot off the throttle and trying to squeak out a win by sitting on a lead. He absolutely can not have that as a plan in Tuscaloosa. Not saying to throw caution out the window, but don't run it between the tackles three straight times either.
