Who have the Alabama power brokers chosen as head referee?

I always tell folks when you start talking, “sports are fixed” in public you’re telling the world “I have minimal critical thinking skills and have never been in a position of high authority my entire life”…because if you did or have, you’d realize how absurd the idea is.

This must have been going on for decades and involved literally thousands of people with knowledge and yet it’s all still secret…just laugh out loud funny that some of you believe this

A lot of battered men in here making excuses already. Game isn’t for another 24 hrs. Goes to show we’re always looking for the next excuse. Off we lose, it will be on lack of defense. Not a bunch of zebras.
Yep. Already building in the excuses. When we lose it’s never that we got out played. Oh no. It’s always officiating. The ones who consistently blame the refs are the dumbest of the dumb.

You have never been involved in large scale commercial real estate projects where everybody has their hand out.

I agree with the defense argument, but if you think the refs won't impact this game, you're in for a rude awakening. The day we get an even whistle in Tuscaloosa will be the first. I'll bet the farm this board will be full of complaints and conspiracy tomorrow night.
It’s not just us either!

Watch when and where the calls and no calls are. May not necessarily take points off the board but will impact field position and momentum.

My memory is not what it was but I recall outplaying Alabama 2 years ago down there and a few really bad calls in the second half changed the entire way that game was headed.

I've watched Alabama play as much as Tennessee this year and they are a talented bunch but they tend to make more mistakes than we do and that's what we have to take advantage of.

We're coming off our worst game of the year and they're arguably coming off they're best. I don't see them 10 points better than us or whatever the line is.

And there are countless examples with mountains of evidence that this takes place…and yet there are zero examples of sports leagues conspiring with officials to fix games. Like I said, minimal critical thinking skills would lead you to ask why that is

Leave my marriage out of this.

Anyone but the Georgia / Auburn crew. Those dudes should be in prison with how criminal they called that game.

It’s not hard to believe when you have a group of refs that do not have to answer questions to the public, do not have to explain most of their calls, and only report to the leadership of the conference.

That’s not thousands, that’s just a handful. Most of which remain in their positions for many seasons.

We got way up in that game and let them come back. Refs had nothing to do with it

If my memory serves me correct we have actually gotten a few favorable calls against bama the past few years

Unless an individual player or ref specifically does something, games aren't fixed as some sort of larger conspiracy.
If I was a ref, I'd be biased as heck. I'd be worse than Leslie Neilson in naked gun as an ump. Georgia, bama, Florida, they'd never win a game 😅

It’s hard for smart people to believe…for some people it’s a piece of cake, obviously
