Israel vs Palestinians II

Ah, Nash being Nash. 🤣

If that is what you took from my post all I can say is that you certainly are imaginative.
No imagining necessary. It's your own words.
As a pro-life guy, I hope Hamas does everything they can to abide by the agreement, and that Israel believes it. So far, it appears they do, as far more than 72 hours have passed, and the war has not resumed.
So why did Israel violate the humanitarian aid portions of the agreement?

Yeah those are protests against genocide, not in favor of Hamas lol
If the objection is to genocide, why is the solution the elimination of Jews from the river to the sea?

Hamas is the elected government of Palestinians living in Gaza. When people support Gazans without qualification, they are supporting Hamas which is guilty of the worst kinds of human rights abuses.

On the other hand, if you are really on board with halting the IDF activities, preventing Israeli annexation of the West Bank, AND calling for the elimination of Hamas, then President Trump appreciates your support.

It's not. You made that up, and are also 2 years late to arguing in this thread about this. Those protests have been discussed ad nauseam by people far more informed than you apparently are

Both parties have performed under the contract (other than Israel withholding aid) so this is a weak pivot
Isn’t a pivot at all. Complying with some parts of the agreement in good faith does not negate the obligations of the other parts of the agreement.

Israel is, in fact, allowing aid into Gaza.

Your assertion that they are not is a lie.

They are contractually required to allow 600 trucks a day at minimum, and said themselves that they were doing 300 instead. Play whatever semantic games you would like

No semantics necessary. It is your own words. (Ha! That was fun! And easy, too!)

And Hamas is “contractually required” to lay down their arms. Have they?

I get it, you want to hold Israel responsible for all parts of the agreement, and you want to give Hamas a pass on theirs.

I am more comfortable being labeled a semantic-sympathizer than I would be being labeled a Hamas-sympathizer, but maybe that is because I am just a simple man.

I don’t think we are going to make much progress in this discussion, and I expect a doctor’s report momentarily on my boy, so I will bid you a good rest of your day.

Cheers,

RW

Where? Paste the requirement in the text of the agreement. We aren't getting anywhere because you keep asking questions, getting answers, and pivoting to arguing about something else

They are not required to lay down arms in phase one. They did agree to release all the bodies in 72 hours. The have not done that.

Point of disagreement. Hamas is not elected. Last election was 19 years ago. Hamas took over control by force and continues to rule by force and fear today.

I should have been more clear. They were supposed to release all the bodies they had in their possession and provide intel on why the knew about the location of others. Israel does not believe they have done that

I wonder if "bombs blew up some of the remains" is going to fly as an explanation. What a mess.

It's not looking good for the peace deal. I don't think Netanyahu wanted it, and neither side can be trusted.

I don't think Bibi wanted it, either. I think he only agreed to it because he knew Hamas wouldn't. Hamas could have called his bluff by accepting one of the sweetest deals in the history of surrender, but they're a suicidal death cult.

If it’s only “genocide” that they are protesting then how come none of them mention the over a hundred thousand and counting Christians murdered and hundreds of church’s burned to the ground in Nigeria? Not one peep have I heard from protesters about the actual “genocide” in Nigeria. How come they only March and carry the flag for Hamas and Palestinians? Is “genocide” not genocide everywhere it’s practiced? These protests seem to be more anti Israel than anti genocide from my view.

You know I thought all the bad things people say about you had to be an exaggeration. They’re not.

All the more reason, in my opinion, that the people who claim to be interested in the fate of the Palestinian people should be talking about not only getting to a ceasefire but also getting rid of Hamas. I’m glad that this is part of the peace plan accepted by regional Islamic powers (except Iran).

Dude, really? It's because we, the US, are not funding or backing that genocide (I think you mean Sudan?). The US is not only funding Israel's military operations, we're providing cover for them with the UN security council. The UN couldn't send in troops (requires a unanimous vote) to protect the food delivery because the US was never going to go against Israel's wishes to starve the Palestinians.

You can't even be bothered to know what country it's in, so how much do you care about it?

Dude. It’s just modified anti Israel protests that have been going on for a decade. If there was no war these dipshits would still be protesting
