We have the TEAM to beat Alabama

He was like 53% against FSU (no jam miller). If Miller is out and our sack attack is on (#1 - nation), I like our odds.
I think our pass rush is better than FSU.

We've won 2 out of the last three against Bamma, see no reason to not go down there and ring their bell and take a W.

Things are never as bad or as good as they seem.

After the FSU loss Bammer was 5 and 5 out of their last 10 games. Let that sink in. 5 losses out of their last 10 games. They
go on to win a couple, get Miller back and win three closer type games that they could have lost anyone of with a bad turnover.
Now they're suppose to be this big Juggernaut I'm told.. ya okay.

Saturday night a W or a L will register for us.
It's Beat Bammer week! Expect to Win guys. I'm not gonna lose midweek.

GO BIG ORANGE!!!
THANK YOU. I'm done with all of the loser talk on this website. We're a good football team coming off a 3 year span where we averaged 10 wins a season. Heupel may make some bone headed decisions, but his players want to go to war for him. He can scheme open receivers all day while turning literally any running back into a dawg. Almost every team in the country is dealing with unexpected deficiencies right now, and we were already expecting a rebuilding year after replacing so many guys, so why can't we just enjoy the game of football?

Bunch of babies in here. Guaranteeing a loss against Alabama when we're a field goal away from a 6-0 start... General Neyland is rolling over in his grave from all of this loser talk. Vols by fiddy.

The Florida state game, he was absolutely SHOOK. He was missing wide open throws. Considering they're 89th in the country in sacks allowed, and we're #1 in the country in team sacks, I like our chances to disrupt his rhythm
I hope so and if we can't get pressure without blitzing, we should blitz and take our chances. cause if he has time to throw they will score at will.

I hate to be negative but I don’t have any good feelings about this game. Despite a few stats our defense is horrible where it matters. Simpson will pick us apart in our zone. Our secondary play outside Hood has been pretty bad. My gut tells me Bama covers.

Ok? The comment I responded to explicitly stated he was inaccurate vs Mizzou, so why should I refer to the FSU game when that was not stipulated?

Most reasonable fans don't expect to win at Tuscaloosa or Gainesville. Even if we play good, the refs will make sure we don't win in Tuscaloosa.

I'm just glad I don't watch football the way you guys do. We have a chance until the clock strikes 0:00. Sorry it's not "reasonable" to hope for a win against our biggest rival who we've beaten 2/3 times. Hell we almost beat them in Tuscaloosa Saban's last year

Being able to win starts with the confidence that you can. I believe this team believes they can compete with anyone. We need to get behind them, verses making up reasons why they are going to lose.

Maybe dwell on what they need to do to win.

What are you talking about Mizzu is a good team.

After week 7, UT is #1 in most offensive stats.
Here is the problem. We are #14 (out of 16) on defense! Two things. If we play a defense that stops us we are in big trouble.
JH as got to keep the pedal to the metal on offense because we can't stop a nose drip.
The way our offense has played this year, I think the MSU & Ark games is what it looks like when a team stops us. We have a couple turnovers, a couple 3 & outs, and still get 30+ points.

I sure hope we win, but that's different from expecting to win.

Just being a realist. Don’t let me rain on your positivity parade.

You’re cherry picking stats. How many did we lose in a row?

2/3 is completely just skewing.

I think this years team would beat last years team by at least 10 points. Is that crazy to say?

Hmmm.

That offense was bad, very very bad. They don’t score 20 on us cause they didn’t score 20 on anybody.

I think our offense scores over 20 so yes I gotta kinda agree.

But bama is better this year so and the major games are away so I think the record won’t reflect.

You think what happened when Dooley was the coach has any impact on this years game? Sorry buddy, that's not how this works. What matters is what has happened recently. That's it. And as far as I can tell, heupel is 2-2 against bama, and 1-0 against their current head coach. Go ahead and give up, and let yourself be disappointed before the ball is snapped. But you aren't dragging me down with you.

There is zero doubt that we are the better team in the trenches. On both sides. Those years you're talking about.... were we EVER better than bama in the trenches? Have we forgotten how you win SEC football games?
