'26 TX WR Legend Bey (Tennessee commit)

Highlights are crazy good. Isn't this the top level in Texas too? Sheesh. Seems like a potential wildcat type qb. Think that would be a fun mix to throw in as a new wrinkle. Good luck stopping that.

Not well…

Just another case of a HS team letting the best athlete on the field throw up lollipops from the QB position.
He is the best athlete. Yes.
But also is the best passer and most pure QB on his squad.

And at no time have I ever said he should be strictly a QB at Tennessee.

Contingency plan. That’s all I’ve said he should be as a QB at Tennessee.

Can we please stop this nonsense?

I’d like to see him used as a contingency plan at QB if we only have 2 on the roster (which is possible next year), as well as on some gadget plays. I’d also like to see him line up at RB some, both to run the ball and to motion out of the backfield to catch passes. And of course, use him creatively in the slot.

This is the kind of kid you can get very creative with. In the 90s, we saw opponents get creative with David Palmer and Hines Ward. We can certainly do something similar with a more evolved offense and a creative offensive head coach.

Did I use the word “creative” enough? 😂

Let me make 2 things clear:

1. I could not care less what your opinion is on just about anything
2. You responded to me, but feel free to knock off the nonsense of trying to scheme the ball out of this kid’s hands

He needs a half dozen wildcat snaps per game at a minimum
