We should know this weekend

This is the 3rd time someone has replied that Tennessee wasn’t good then. That really has nothing to do with the situation. My response to the original post and it said “when Kiffin wins on the road, it would be the first time” being good had nothing to do with the conversation in the beginning.
“Big game on the road” was how it was worded, but nice try.

Tennessee was NOT a good team in ‘21. Justify your man crush however you want.
Lmao! Who would I be man crushing over? Really not sure why people think that wasn’t a big game at that time. Idc how good we was at that time.

I guess you consider Vandy last year a big road win for Heupel then. Vandy was 7-6, same record as the Vols in 2021, with probably a better team (definitely a better win over Ala than any team Vols beat in ‘21)

Idk! Was Vandys HC our HC at one time? Leave in the middle of the night with no warning? Take kids recruited to Tennessee with him? Become OC at our most hated rival? Then become HC and basically cheat us out of a game at our house?

It will as a game that meant a lot to our fanbase, it was as a packed house and not a soul in orange and white wanted to lose that game. Not to him! Not in our house! So yeah! I do think it was a big game, no matter our final record.

Who’s, who in the SEC. I’m really curious about how these games will play out.
VOLS vs bama
georgia
vs ole miss
vandy vs lsu
I’m hoping the teams on the left all win which will move us into a better position for the playoff Chase.
I really don’t think LSU or Ole Miss are as good as where they are ranked, we will see after the games are played.
GBO KICK BUTT!
I, already know......

Texas A&M is still out there. With the way the scheduling is, you still kind of feel like there is an East and West with Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, and other contenders playing each other more often in an "East" while LSU, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, and Texas kind of makeup a West side.

It's weird - an Ole Miss win hurts and helps UT both.
They win, it gives UGA 2 losses, both in the conference, and pretty much takes them out of the hunt to reach the SECCG and possibly the CFP.
BUT also, too, it makes our loss to UGA look less "good".
There was nothing remotely "good" about losing to GA at home after jumping on them early. GA is as beatable this year as they have been in a decade and we still couldn't do it at home. It was a bad home loss any way you look at it.

Honestly if I had to pick one of the six to win, it would probably be Vandy over LSU. The other two games I feel less certain about.
The home teams in SEC have the advantage but I don't see Vandy winning until I see it. They snuck up on some teams last year but if they beat LSU even at home I'd say their legit because LSU has a great defense.
I'd pick Ole Miss out of these 3 games because UGA could easily have 3 losses this year but being at home may help but Bama beat them there. UGA is good but this is not the same teams Kirby has had, we had them and gifted them a W.

I'm with you.
What I meant by "good" is in the eyes of the CFP there are "good" losses and "bad" losses.

They will see our loss to UGA better than Bamas loss to FSU.

Tenn is Vandys arch rival. It meant going to the CFP for the first time in program since 1998.
