I hate

I hate this for her, but imagine it means she will be back for next season, so there is that. She is a great gal and teammate. McDowell’s minutes just got a bump. SC is down to ten healthy players, playing time won’t be an issue for the top 8-9 this season. It’s getting thin though and further injuries would obviously be a big issue.

Yeah they have no depth at this point. Any other injuries to starters and they’re in a heap of trouble.

Even their post depth isn’t very deep. Dauda and Tac aren’t usable for how Dawn likes to play. Dauda might be serviceable but not for heavy minutes.

TAC is a legit D1 post, she needed the time to fully recover from injuries, she should make big strides this year. I’m not sure what to expect from Dauda, could be good or just more of the same from last season. Have to wait and see I suppose. This team will likely be different in that they play through the guards and wings way more than past years and shoot earlier in the clock. I do wish Fulwiley had stayed, especially now. I expect her to flourish at LSU.

USC has landed 3 number 1 players in a row and are in on their 4th number 1 with Kaleena Smith considering them. With Juju's injury and taking off the year, that would put her with Kaleena Smith, Saniyah Hall and Jasmine Davidson for 2 consecutive years which would be intriguing to any player wanting to win a national championship. Talk about a loaded back court. If they add a couple of quality posts, they are going to be a tough team to beat for the next couple of years.
