Israel vs Palestinians II

Hamas Executes 'collaborators' in Gaza as it Clings To Power amid fears Trump's peace deal is already at risk

Horrifying footage has emerged which shows Palestinians being executed by Hamas, sparking fears that the Gaza peace deal is already at risk of collapsing as the terror group tries to cling to power.

In disturbing footage circulating on social media, a group of men can be seen kneeling on the ground with their hands behind their backs.

Armed militants - some wearing Hamas-style headbands - stand behind the victims with their faces covered before gunshots ring out and the seven kneeling men fall to the ground, apparently lifeless.

Cheering crowds scream 'Allah Akbar,' or 'God is great', and brand the executed men 'collaborators' while filming the scenes on their phones. A Hamas source confirmed the authenticity of the video.

Hamas has already recalled around 7,000 members of its security forces to reassert control over areas of Gaza recently vacated by Israeli troops.

U.S. President Donald Trump suggested yesterday Hamas had been given a greenlight for internal security operations, saying militants wants 'to stop the problems' and 'we gave them approval for a period of time'.

The Hamas problem isn't going away; the question is whether it can be controlled to an acceptable extent.

Again, not saying a full-on thing yet, but attacking federal officers and having a domestic terrorist group violently protesting is a form of insurrection
Wouldn’t you say that your definition fits that ragtag bunch of misfits that stormed and invaded the seat of the U.S. government? Egged on by the head domestic terrorist.

Hamas is finished. The only patron they had left was Qatar but Trump bought Qatar off with military hardware and security guarantees. There is no one left to buy bullets for Hamas. Their “political wing” will continue to milk international organizations for money but as a fighting force, Hamas will gradually get weaker until they are slaughtered by another Palestinian faction. Good riddance.

Until people realize this is about Muslim Brotherhood vs the West nothing will ever really get solved.

Depends in your definition of "solved."

As I said earlier Trump's transactional approach to things may be the best path forward. Stop hoping to create tolerance there in the extremes when it hasn't ever worked and instead hope to diminish and control them by getting their governments and business interests to keep them at bay.

Shadi Abu Sido was working at Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City when Israeli forces raided the hospital complex on March 18, 2024, and arrested him during the operation. After nearly twenty months in Israeli prisons, he was released yesterday as part of a prisoner exchange deal.

Throughout his imprisonment, Shadi — like many other Palestinian detainees — was never formally charged or brought before a court. He was held under Israel’s system of administrative detention, a policy that allows authorities to detain Palestinians indefinitely without trial or evidence being presented.

For decades, Palestinians in Israeli prisons have spoken about the same horrors: being blindfolded for days, stripped, beaten, starved, denied sleep and medical care. Human rights organizations have documented it again and again as torture has become part of the dehumanizing system.

Another useful idiot. Greta 🤡

Blaming Israel while he was killed by his own people. Typical hypocrisy.
Ironically it was because Israel was there that he survived for 2 years.

There is no excuse for abusing humans held in captivity. If it is happening on either side it should be called out and stopped. It is dehumanizing for the captive and the captors.

That said, “working in a hospital” doesn’t necessarily mean innocently caring for people. To Hamas it could mean making rockets in the basement.

Apparently you don’t understand or don’t care whether the Palestinians keep their end of the ceasefire agreement.

Look at Huff …Hamas is continually slaughtering people and there’s outrage about a singular, lawful, IDF action which was in fact Palestinians violating the ceasefire NOT Israel!… go figure. Guess which one he posted?

You may see disingenuous actors on social media claiming "Israel killed Palestinians today violating the ceasefire." This is false. Here is what you need to know:
1. The Palestinians killed crossed beyond the “yellow line” in northern Gaza (the mutually agreed upon withdrawal line), and were issued explicit warnings by IDF troops before being fired on. This was a clear violation of the ceasefire agreement.
2. Hamas had already violated the terms of phase 1 of the ceasefire by failing to return the bodies of the hostages by the end of the day Monday.
3. Hamas has rejected flatly the demands to demilitarize as well as removal from governance, both required in the next phases of the agreement

If Hamas breaks the deal in a clear and unmistakable manner, what is the US reaction? Military?
