No, firing the coach is 100% effective..... As they are no longer the coach.
That being said what comes next is anyone's guess
It would be similar to Colts with Saturday. Naming George as the interim woudn't be a dumb idea because it doesn't matter in grand scheme of things. We are not getting a staff for the remainder of the season that will be hear going forward. I personally would like to see Vince Young brought in as the interim. Might as well get crazy with it.I wouldn’t hate bringing McCarthy aboard at all, but George would just be stupid. We need somebody with NFL coaching experience.
Wow, Shocker
And what's funny is there are still Titans fans that think firing Vrabel was the right call.
Absolutely clueless ownership.
So now that the bandaid has been ripped off at last, wanted to ask what you guys would think of Curt Cignetti.
I’d rather avoid a college coach, but something about Cignetti just excites me. I feel like his style of coaching could potentially translate well to the NFL, and his gritty culture reminds me a lot of what Dan Campbell has established in Detroit.
Woukd definitely choose somebody like Mike McCarthy before him, but it’s an interesting thought.
If pulling from college, I'm asking Kirby. So now that the bandaid has been ripped off at last, wanted to ask what you guys would think of Curt Cignetti.
