The guy who just funded 9 months of genocide deserves credit for the deal if it holds. But he still financed 9 months of mass murder so **** him and his boasting.

This is a fair take. But his comments to the Knesset were remarkable. Sure, he did his thing and went off script a couple times, but they were largely compassionate, strong, and optimistic. Very un-Trumplike to me.

This whole thing is beyond anything anyone other than Trump and his closest advisors thought possible.

Trump 1 never thought he'd beat Hillary, and he had no idea what he was going to do or how to do it when he entered office.

Trump 2 is the most focused, effective administration of my lifetime, even on the things where I don't agree with him.

It has been an amazing transformation. I have to say, the man learned from his failures, and has paved a path to success this time around.

I am certain he would have welcomed this deal the first day of his presidency if Hamas was willing.

I think most people see this for what it is, a remarkable achievement.

The President deserves all the credit he gets for this. If it doesn't hold, I would wager it is not because of anything he does.

I have never seen a president who pushed harder for peace and the end to conflicts than this president has. There is still farther to go, but, dang, if you can't see the clarity of his desire for people to stop war, that is on your myopic worldview, not because of his track record.

The dignity of the office hasnt existed for a long time . And definitely after Clinton...

I thought it was an appropriate response to him suggesting it was a waste of time reading someone else's post as the reasoning for putting someone on ignore. Either read it or don't read it.

I agree there are a lot of moderate posters here, but it's still heavily right leaning

And look where that got us as a country, under Obama & Biden our enemies and even so called friends took advantage of us.

I think the “heavily right wing” lean is largely a result of the fact that what was a moderate position on so many social issues 15 years ago is now viewed as “right wing” by the left, although those who consider themselves moderates still view those positions as such.

For instance: traditional marriage values were expressed by then candidate Obama in 2008, Dems wanted stricter immigration enforcement in the not-too-disytant past, and the whole trans debate is a newly recent conversation to 99% of the country.

We really don't know because no real census has been done. It would have to be more about ideology than chosen political party. I'm not so sure it's overstated because it really can't be measured with a binary lens

Donald Trump shut down a reporter for Politico as she attempted to ask a series of questions on Air Force One and claimed her employers were 'wrong about everything.'

The president hosted the press for about 25 minutes of questions on board his presidential plane before he headed to Tell Aviv to oversee the first phase of the peace deal he brokered between Israel and Hamas.

The questions ranged from the Middle East to the government shutdown, until Dasha Burns of Politico began a series of questions about China.

At one point, Burns started to ask a question about ramping up the tariffs he proposed to 100 percent on China earlier this week, when Trump appeared to become amused.

'Wow, she asks a lot of questions. Who are you with?' he said.

Burns, 33, responded with her name and advised she was working for Politico.

Trump responded: 'Dasha Politico, oh, Politco's gone bad. They've been so wrong about everything! No, no, Politico's been so wrong about everything!'

Burns attempted to push back before Trump ended her questioning: 'Let's get somebody else to ask some questions, you mind? Because Politico is fake news.'
