he could scheme a team full of highschoolers open against the dallas cowboys but he ain't much good for anything else

Well he can't drive a motorcycle for crap, I can tell you that much. Although I admit it's probably hard to see the road after someone's fiance beats the everling hell out of you.

The Tennessee players were congregated in front of the band for “The Tennessee Waltz” and Arkansas players walked through them. Classless on Arkansas’ part.

Yes and it was like they lingered on the field so they could purposely cause this. Most visiting teams are off the field and into the locker room well before the playing of the Tennessee Waltz.

What are some of names floating out there that Arkansas fans are talking about?
Lashlee and Sumrall were the main two. But Lashlee (an Arkansas alum) apparently has told people the timing isn’t right for the move right now and would prefer waiting until later in his career. And I think everyone assumes Sumrall will go to somewhere like Auburn or Kentucky if they open. So Mullen, Petrino, Golesh and Gruden (lol) are the others talked about the most after that.

What about the Indiana coach? I’d rather see him at Arky than Florida, that’s for sure. Might be a pipe dream for Arkansas though.

No way Coach Cig goes to Arky.
He's said his dream has always been to coach in the Big Ten.
Plus he has the boosters and AD at IU believing, so they'll match offers to keep him around. He also has a fair amount of autonomy at IU he likely wouldn't have at Arky.

I don't see Golesh going with the Florida job possibly being open this year. He loves the state, recruits it very well...just can't see him leaving the state at this point.

To me, it comes down to Petrino and Mullen.
Also, now that Franklin is available, don't be surprised if his name comes up too.

Petrino represents the best years Arkansas has had since joining the SEC. He is going to get the job out of that nostalgia bait and will probably win there again.

EDIT: Houston Nutt had Arkansas in Atlanta a few times while Petrino did not. However, Petrino had better win-loss and was mostly held up by Nick Saban always winning the SEC West. Arkansas was on Saban's heels those years though.
Honestly, imo after the way he treated Louisville twice, I wouldn't trust him.

You’re probably right on Golesh, only interesting thing is his wife is from Arkansas and used to be a huge Hog fan/season ticket holder. She still goes back home to visit family every week.

Petrino is a good offensive mind. He did really well the first time at Arkansas mainly due to other traditional SEC programs (other than Bama) being down. I don’t see him any better than Freeze currently is at auburn, If Arkansas is going to improve, they are going to have to spend the money to compete,

Arkansas over A&M is my upset pick next week. They could easily win their next 3. Auburn doesnt have the offense to keep up with them and MS State isnt the same on the road. Win against Mizzou to end the season and hes got em bowling.

I thought the TN band was located in front of where the team comes out thru the T to start the game. I have seen this in other games, that both teams exit the field thru the same exit area. That can be risky.

Golesh would be really good for yall if he would take the job.
