Well in this exchange you said we aren’t going 10-2 and we lose 2 maybe 3 more games.

So my posts are telling you all the reasons we will go 10-2 or better.

And some of those reasons are these other teams ain’t sh*t.

And I feel the way we’re playing, we ain’t sh*t either. I don’t trust our defense, especially in the run game, to allow our offense to put it away.

Of the three, OU in Neyland is the only one I think we win. I don’t trust the refs in Tuscaloosa nor our history of playing in Gainesville. So I think those two are L’s.

The voters know our Defense is sh*t too. That’s why 1 more loss and they sink us like stone, unlike most of the other teams above us.

Penn state offense is horrendous and leaves them on the field too much. They shut down Oregon most of the game. I think the team has quit on Franklin the last two games and it shows.

Not disagreeing but I haven’t been impressed with his defense this year. He let a winless (at the time) UCLA team put up over 40 pts on his defense and a Northwestern team that has a hard time scoring pts at all on anyone put up 22. PSU still had everything to play for vs UCLA and his defense made them look like Ohio St.

A few years ago I would have said throw the checkbook at Gary Patterson. Great mind and always had nasty Defenses. Just looked and now 65+ and retired last year. That would have been my vote. I think we need a young buc to bring some energy.

Things got physical in post-game too. I’ve been going to games for about 30 years. Sit in South end zone. When UT players coming over for TN Waltz, AR players came off field straight thru there. Not sure what all happened but took a minute to settle it down. About 3-4 TN players had to corral Tyre West all the way down over to TN sideline & then Garner stepped in too

prob the cheap shots and extra curricular crap we didn't see. BP strikes me as a snake.

Not Heupel style.

If Banks left, my guess is we would promote Alan Williams. And if garner left, we have Marion Hobby who could easily take over that spot. And if Martinez retires, I hope we go hire a proven DB coach.

Upon reflection injuries are holding us back, youth at times is too, but we have to be more consistent and above all more complimentary. We get turnovers, but do nothing with them. We pull ahead and then give up easy scores. Or we miss a kick or muff a return.

Good teams can do great things, but great teams do them consistently. We are not a great team yet.

We could beat Bama by 3 and we could also lose by 3 scores. I don’t think we are healthy enough to do anything other than squeak out a nail biter.

Just win. We might, but the current spread makes sense. IMO JMO.
