Agreed.Yeah, he’s a great QB.
Totally agree. JA is an "out the blue" blessing for Vols this year. Much better than what we thought we had in spring. Green is a special talent and has to drive D coordinators to the brink of sanity trying to account for him. I think Ark may be a tough out for more teams than the Vols as we go thru final stretch.Agreed.
I love JA. I wouldn't trade him for anyone,maybe.
I wonder what Green would look like in this offense
When Joey wanted to run,it was there all night. Problem is DC's don't have to worry or scheme against that in our offense.
Not saying Green would be better but I bet it would be electric
Definitely a valid point, but given the final score and 256 yards of passing, which was their key to keeping the game close, I don't think we "lit him up," especially given the betting odds.Did you miss the game? Sacked 5 times. Multiple fumbles. Next to the ND game, his lowest total yards of the season. The most sacks he’s taken.
If you don’t think our pass rush lit him up, you were watching the wrong game

I think "lit him up" implies that we pressured him so much that we rendered him and their whole offense ineffective. It implies that they wouldn't achieve a balanced and efficient offense, and that they wouldn't score much. And that they certainly wouldn't keep it close. But they did all of those things. So I would argue that your use of stats doesn't prove that we lit him up. I would agree, though, that he was on fire. And if we light up Alabama's qb in the same way, we're gonna get burned next weekend. It’s weird to quote “lit him up” and then give me a bunch or reasons unrelated to that phrase and its meaning.
Betting odds have nothing to do with us hitting their QB numerous times and generating a lot of pressure. Nor does his total yards.
