Heupel Should never be given a Bye Week

congrats to the Vols for escaping by the skin of their teeth. now on to business.

this team never looks good after a bye week. ita like the bye week is our biggest trap game on the schedule. the offense was flat even though the defense kept bailing them out. I was shocked how many times we failed and went for a field goal. the refs did try about 6 times to absolutely screw us but I always say the best way to defeat the refs is to score 50 points.

I'm just shocked at how backwards this game was but perhaps I should not. the bye week should never be given to Tennessee.

Yep, bad ref play, however, coach gets too conservative. Reminds me of the Fulmer get 3 pts ahead and try to run out the clock. Short passes were open all day and still we try to run up the middle consistently for 2 yrds.

lol Arkansa's offense didn't appear to be good at all. nothing special. I actually think our defense had them shut down and the refs handed them a bunch of opportunities.

also petrino was at Arkansas the whole time. having "full control" doesn't change the offense when he already had full control of the offense.

Yes he does. It drives me crazy every time he lowers his shoulder
