I don’t think people are aware that Arkansas nearly beat Ole Miss and, if I recall correctly, only lost to Memphis on an unlucky fumble. They are better than their record indicates.

After watching the game, someone needs to check the bank accounts of referees. This was abysmal.

I don’t. I told you this would be a tight game all week but you acted like I had three heads because you were adamant there was no way we weren’t going to win by 50.

We didn’t play poorly. Why do you talk down about our team every time we don’t blow a team out? We just played a team of SEC athletes that are led by a seasoned head coach who has won at the highest level and put together a solid game plan with two weeks to prepare.

Heupel and Kitselman both said on the post-game show they didn’t know what to expect and had to adjust to things offensively and defensively they hadn’t seen on film.

Anyone who says they were surprised this was a close game doesn’t know football.

It is impossible for oddsmakers to judge the effect of what has happened in Fayetteville over the past two weeks. Team stumbles. Head Coach Fired. Asst coach and former head coach named temporary coach. He fires just about the entire coaching staff. What the hell??

Who on this earth can "predict" the repercussions on this group of young men? Their coach probably has them believing that today's game is the Super Bowl game of their life. Make a statement. Leave a legacy. Be somebody.

I have not felt comfortable about this game since it was scheduled a year ago and all that has recently happened really does make it impossible to handicap. Vols have the better team, but emotion has won many a game.

Give it you ALL Vols - gonna be a dog fight in the trenches.

3 point win is a win, but the dog fight was real and Petrino nearly did us in. Great effort by Arkansas. Anyone who thought this would be an easy game is insane. There are NO easy SEC wins anymore.
