First off this stuff about the kid canceling the visit came about a week ago. I still don’t believe it. Just because the prospect doesn’t post photos that doesn’t mean they aren’t on a visit.
We never saw Janiah Barker or Jersey Wolfenberger on campus before committing but both were part of the #1 transfer portal class of the LVs according to ESPN.
Also, since then there’s been social media posts with the recruit engaging in considering Tennessee as one of their Top 5 teams. The 2027 recruit that is visiting this coming Monday plays for the same OT Select program.
Baylor has never and I mean never been able to stop anything when it comes to Lady Vols recruiting from Jewel Spear, Jasmine Powell, Deniya Prawl the list goes on… if a player doesn’t pick Tennessee due to negative recruiting from Baylor then you hope that player ends up at Baylor so to speak.

I'm with Knox...if a player chooses another team over the LVs, so be it...Coach Kim and the Gang are getting the players they need via HS or the Portal...We will be in great shape, no matter what..."Trust the Process"...LVFL 🧡 💙🏀💙🧡

Exactly! I don’t know what’s the purpose of suddenly all these new and unrecognizable posters popping up talking like roster experts.
In no universe does a guard in the 2026 class move a needle with the roster we already have now and for the future. Even if that 2026 guard does commit to UT my mindset won’t change because everything will have to earn just to get playing time with this roster which won’t be easy.
People just like to create unnecessary drama.

You mean like Deniya Prawl came to Tennessee instead of Duke. Like Oliviyah Edwards is heading to Tennessee instead of USC, LSU, or South Carolina. Same with the Pauldo twins. Same with Jaida Civil.. Lauren Hurst.
Tennessee doesn’t have to sign every player, and neither does the forums of other fanbases constantly focus on every recruit that commits elsewhere like they were the only option……. good luck.

Cope and move on.. I didn’t write the article. You keep talking to me and like I said take it up with who wrote the article. And why would I do research on a recruit visit? It doesn’t matter to me one way or the other. I will believe what the article says.

I wanted to add another thought while it’s on my mind… when Tennessee gets another 2026 HS commit along with the No. 2 overall 2026 recruit Oliviyah Edwards how much quality dialogue you anticipate focused directly on that particular decision in this thread?
I notice a trend of how quickly things shift and the subject changes when it’s something very positive related to LVs WBB as opposed to when it’s something controversial or dramatic.

I’ll admit I don’t know much about this kid who is committing tomorrow. I honestly can’t see this class having many if any guards commit in 2026 from HS. The portal in the spring could be a different story. I think this HS class will feature 2-3 forwards/posts and a wing.
