The late afternoon and night games always bring out the best posters in a game thread.

What’s wrong with posts? Just a reflection of the teams performance.

No one in the secondary wraps up. They perform like a sleeping policeman and hope the guy falls/trips. When I look at Vandys defense,.I'm actually envious. They're light years better.

Corners are better tacklers than our safeties. I have a hard time thinking we are putting our best two back there.

At this point I think it’s clear our defense is not good. At some point you’re going to need a new voice on that side of the ball.

Alright today has been somewhat weird with Miss winning by 3 against horrible Cougar team 34 point favorite. Sometimes football is just that way week to week. Hopefully focus is better. Go Vols. In CHRIST Alone

After seeing what Notre Dame did to Arkansas I was hoping for an easy, blowout game as well but it seems we're heading for another overtime nail biter. That make the 3 straight SEC OT games. I sure hope that isn't the case and we get our act together in the 2nd half. Go VOLS !!!

We never get teams at their worst. I figured after getting embarrassed at home, losing three in a row, and with a new coach they’d come out with something to prove. So far it looks that way.

When boo was trotting after the ball carrier early on I almost lost it. Anyone else see that?

I think he is a great player and I want the best for our home state guys, so it was just really disappointing to see the lack of effort.

Worse than that he just let a guy go right past him earlier and run to the sideline and catch a big pass. It’s like he doesn’t really want to be there. Minimal effort

Petrino has been very vanilla so far - nothing new.

Be ready for something 2nd half- some type of trick play, fake punt (if we get them to 4th down), on-sides kick, or defensive change.

Flame away but I’m concerned. We aren’t playing well and think Petrino has something up his sleeve. Hopefully I’m wrong.

Bishop needs to play the majority of snaps this half. We need to run the ball. We need to stop the run. Easier said than done but it shouldn’t be too difficult if we can execute

Martinez is not the problem. Corners are actually one of the few bright spots on defense. Problem is on the d line linebackers and safeties.
