Starting to really doubt JH for long term. No doubt he's a great offensive mind, but his overall management is lacking. Team is so undisciplined and it shows at the most critical times during the game. His in-game management at times when the game is tight has been atrocious, and for them to come out and look rusty several times in his time here after a bye week is just maddening. I don't look for him to fire any staffers after the season, but I think if he's gonna make it here long term he's gonna have to because we will lose at least a couple more games this year solely becsuse of this defense.

It’s frustrating. Banks has probably forgotten more football than I will ever know but I’m currently watching with a former defensive UT player from the 90’s and he is going crazy.

Despite Petrino's moral tendencies, he is a good Offensive Coach. Remember he had double digit win at Arkansas a few times. Add the obvious deficiency of our D and you have what we have today.

Despite the fact that he’s not a great person, he can coach football. Game today says so

I’m disappointed we arent rotating more at linebacker especially with carter playing hurt.

And I wish our starting safeties could tackle like some of the guys on special teams.

It’s not just scheme. His teams are poor at tackling is space . . . And whatever he is doing scheme / call wise is a joke on 3rd down / 4th down.

His decision making and clock management in close games is terrible, playcalling makes no sense when he starts coaching scared...all that being said I'm happy with Coach but I'm starting to question things..

I'm on record as expecting it. Our defense is a wet paper tiger and sooner or later we're bound to have a day where mistakes and missed opportunities pop up and bite us. Seems like when we have a bye or honor a legend, we lay the proverbial egg. Sadly,.it looks like today might be one of those days.

Getting the right LBer on the field would be a great idea for Banks though.
