That doesn’t mean anything when decent teams can score that much against us. MSU could have just as easily won that game 2 weeks ago. Then you have coaches that choke in tight games and throw away Ws. We have looked as average/decent as anyone other average/decent team.

Our boys have to earn that trust. What exactly have they done to inspire confidence--as a complete TEAM, not just Joey and Brazzell, or Josh Josephs? Couldn't get it done against UGA. Had to go to overtime to beat one of the worst teams and historically one of the two or three weakest programs in the conference. I know you would pick us to beat the Packers tomorrow (just like some others would probably pick us to lose to Carson Newman), but I need to see more before I'm going to think we could beat EITHER of these teams.

My last sentence mentioned they might get the win, but we got a lot of people thinking it’s a guaranteed loss and i just don’t see it that way. We’ve got 4 defensive starters returning today in which only two of them have seen the field this year and that was the first half of the Syracuse game.

Yes. But I came away from that game that our defense is a hell of a lot better than what these folks dumping on them as weak link are.

They scored 2 touchdowns and held up considering the turnovers we made on our side of the field.

I am more excited about our defensive line play than anything from the MsU game.

They made a couple plays but got ran over for the most part. Without those turnovers we probably don’t win and you can’t always count on takeaways to win the game.

We gave up 3 balls to State that we normally don’t do. We had just as much to blame ourselves for the game being that close more than anything State did.

We don’t turn the ball over on our side 3 times and we run away with that game.
