Well yeah. UCLA has a good play caller it would seem. I’m watching because I’m curious about what UCLA is doing better now.

Rick Neuheisel just sent a nose tackle in motion as a blocker to run all over Michigan State’s big men.
I’m very impressed with his playcalling. I think UCLA would be crazy to let this staff walk, they’ve already earned a chance at a full year. They’ve completely turned what looked to be the worst team in FBS around.

So apparently UCLA is good now. All it took was firing DeShaun Foster and they suddenly went from one of the worst P4/P5 teams in the past decade, to a mid-tier Big 10 team. Crazy! Can't think of any team that turned around this fast just from firing the HC.
Firing the A.D. would be the next smart move. He's the one who hired Foster.

Props to UCLA. They’ve proved me wrong numerous times within the last week.

First I thought they’d go winless.

Then I thought this was a fluke game.

Then I thought they had to run Nico too much and that wasn’t maintainable.

Now they’ve won again, on the road, without running Nico.
