How many teams are over 15 or more OVER the revenue sharing? The way he words this is confusing. The 20 million is revenue sharing and everything about that has to come from NIL.
We are just beginning to see the effects of this new reality for college football. The primary issue that I see going forward is that 99% of CFB teams cannot afford even 15 million over what they are spending with revenue share. Heck there are schools who cannot afford to give up 20 million in revenue. CFB has been a cash cow for years and there are far too many people suckling from the tit. I mean, they honestly tried to get away with outsourcing paying players to 3rd parties and still ended up having to give some of those massive revenues up. It makes no sense some of these schools are pulling in 200 million/year in revenue and claim they have to raise prices on fans to afford to share some of that with players.
