We might oughta look at this Clements kid on the defensive line for North Texas as a portal candidate. That guy is blowing up plays left and right.

My husband is originally from north of Denton, TX where this game is being played. This stadium holds about 30k. The Denton ISD stadium holds 12k! Unbelievable for a high school. First time I saw it, thought it was a small college stadium! However, down the road is the Allen ISD stadium and it holds 18k! Only in Texas!

I have to travel to Denton 4 or 5 times a year for work. It’s a nice little city. They do love their HS football.

About ten years ago-not long after they opened the Allen stadium-they had to close it for quite a while. The concrete was all cracking. They spent over $60 million building the thing. I never saw the final total for the repairs, but I would imagine it stretches well into 8 figures.

When I first moved to Plano, I lived about 1/2 mile from one of the local high schools. I quickly learned to just stay home on fall Fridays as the traffic was unbelievable
