Pump the brakes. No, she wouldn’t start unless a lot plays out over a year including Talaysia Cooper waiving her final year of eligibility to declare for the WNBA draft. CKC would then have to start two PGs cause a freshman is not going to start over Mia Pauldo who is projected as the favorite to land the starting position as a true freshman.

Well it's a good thing we play positionless basketball then. There's no reason Mia, Cooper, and Smith couldn't be on the floor at the same time.

Don’t matter what’s missed or not… Jaida Civil, Mia Pauldo, Deniya Prawl, and Kaiya Boyd are all competing amongst Talaysia Cooper right now for a starting spot.
If all of them are here next year, the year after that, and the year after that any freshmen in 2027 or beyond is not guaranteed a starting spot.
Now you don’t have to focus on when Talaysia Cooper graduates or if she’ll waive that final year of eligibility which I doubt although right now she is included in some WNBA draft projections for 2026.

I dunno about "just"... Every case is certainly different, but generally, even a stress fracture heals quicker than a high ankle sprain. They can be pernicious, mysterious, and keep players off the field or court for months.

But then, I probably got my medical degree the same place you got yours, right?
