Banana Ball in Neyland/ May 23

I get it, but it's entertaining in a goofy sense and baseball games can be boring and a bit tedious (especially the seeming 8 billion of them each team plays each year). If this amps up interest in the actual game for a new generation,
Nothing like people who crap on other people's fun just because they don't "get it."
Some people are saying they don’t like it and some people are saying they can’t wait to go…no big deal.

Don't care a bit about this abomination. I watch sports to see real competition, not Tik Tok dances in between Globetrotter routines.
It's entertainment. It doesn't even pretend to be a sporting event. I don't much care for it. For some reason my wife loves it though.

Must be an upgrade to the field of Neyland Stadium base on Time of events. Luke Combs & the Bananas Baseball. It brings in revenue. Maybe attend one event and buy tickets to give away for the other.

This is a very bad idea.

Last summer Clemson was a preseason top five team with a favorite to win the Heisman at qb……

Then banana ball happened in their stadium over the summer.

Just sayin’ …….
If we loose to Arky I'm coming back to this comment to say you called it. Or if we win 5 games or less next season. You called it first!

If they were good baseball players they’d be playing , you know, baseball…mostly single A rejects
There are a lot of really good ball players that don't make it to the bigs. My son's college roommate pitched a perfect game in AAA and never threw a pitch in The Show. A friend's grandson languished in the minors for 7 years and was on the verge of throwing in the towel. Got a shot this year when the Orioles had a rash of injuries and hit .276 with 170 AB, 5HR, .775 OPS and proved he's a valuable utility player (played 2B, 3B, SS, and RF).
