Recruiting Forum Football Talk IX

I’m close to garden district, Uptown and central city. I have a couple apartment complexes I work at here

I do think this area is better than bourbon street just a bit overrated overall as a whole (bourbon street is a one and done thing. Never again🤣)

Got any favorite restaurants to check out?
GW Fins and Commander’s Palace

they keep desecrating our temple and yet we stand idly by...
You're not seeing the bigger picture. This is the school's way of raising more money, so we can invest more in NIL while reducing football ticket prices to a level mortals can afford!

Chess, not checkers!!

It's great, right?!?

Right?

Or not.

Yeah, @TN-POSSUM was perfectly fine with Morgan Wallen playing there, now he's suddenly against it. . .
I think a football stadium is much more conducive to a concert than a baseball game. There is a reason baseball stadiums are smaller than football. Tell me how you think a baseball game experience will be from the upper deck in Neyland? No way you can see a baseball from up there, Heck you can barely see a football and it isn't being thrown 90 mph.
Gimmick, just like Bristol.

I know, I know.

Croc wearers are overseeding, Egyptian deities having ritual Yeti sacrificial ceremonies with bowie knives in GSMNP. All the while, do you even lift bro?

LOL that question is sure to spark some posts - and maybe arguements- from anyone who’s spent time there. To me every corner has a good restaurant but I love French and Cajun and seafood and comfort food so I’m pretty easy to please in Nola.

Literally anything on magazine street is prime spot and likely to be good - if you look up best restaurants I’d bet a bunch are on magazine.

not for everyone but if you like mad sandwiches and stoner jokes go to turkey and the wolf, and the sister breakfast place mollys rise and shine really good too, definitely need to get a bagel at stein’s, bisoturo good sushi, commanders palace in damn is really nice - a staple that everyone should try once, the original cafe du monde an experience everyone should have, Emerils (like Comm Palace) would be the other really nice place everyone should try once, Brennans also a staple everyone should try - though it’s in FQ, I liked the butcher Cochon and bought a bunch by the pound and they make sandwiches and plates that I imagine are great, tons of good seafood all around - people would probably say you need to hit acme or Felix’s for oysters - I also really like Peche and then Cooter Browns which is basically a college bar that’s historically known for also having oysters. That should get you started haha

🤔 They’re all in on it. The half time adjustment secret is real. Some have it some don’t. Why why will they not just tell us? Selfish, especially by those that are retired.
Football is a game of adjustments, all the time. It's not like they wait for halftime. It's not like, "Yeah, at half time we're gonna change up in 15 minutes everything it took us a week to install." Not. All adjustments within the game plan are made on the fly. Adjustments are planned for during the week. It's called gameplaning.
Maybe an attitude adjustment at the half but not major stratigery.
