2027 four-star EDGE KJ Green released his top schools on Wednesday, and it was somewhat surprising to see Tennessee not on the list. The Vols impressed him and his family over the summer when he was in town to spend time with Coach Chop. The standout prospect is expected on campus this weekend along with his family, and the Vols staff will look to change that and continue to reiterate how much of a priority he is for them. This will be his first game day experience in Neyland, and Tennessee will look to capitalize on this.

Level of concern for not making a 2027 kid‘s top 12 is near zero. Even if this is a kid we don’t ultimately gain traction with, not worried about EDGE.

I think it comes down to confidence in our Dline recruiters, they're tenacious.

Would love to see us end up with another Dline guy in 26 class.

Tennessee made the most out of getting 2027 EDGE KJ Green back to campus last weekend. He is right at the top of the EDGE board in 2027 for Coach Chop, and after leaving the Vols out of his top schools last week, they quickly changed his mind over the weekend. He is key on development and production, and Tennessee put that on display on Saturday night. He will get another chance to watch Tennessee’s defense this week, as he is set to be in attendance at Alabama, which is one of the schools heavily involved in this recruitment.
