I like that movie. Back in the mid-90s, I went to see The American President with my aunt Mary. Afterwards, she told me she liked it better than All The President’s Men, which was something, given her affection for Robert Redford. She admitted that she was a sucker for a good romance and thought Michael Douglas was OK “costarring” with Annette Benning.
