It seems like it is becoming a lot more common than used to be. IMO people are wanting to "feel" younger for longer. They are attempting to cling onto their youth, and having sex with younger people is their way of doing so. This is obviously just my opinion.

I know people have always wanted to feel younger, but it seems like people are getting more and more superficial.

Maybe it’s just being reported more and pursued by law enforcement more now

In my second high school, there was a female teacher in her thirties rumored to have pulled a chain with a few male seniors. All I really know is that she was gone mid-year, reportedly transferring to another school. That's what they did 50+ years ago, transfer "misbehaving" teachers, or allow them to get jobs in other counties.

I've known it to mean that the attractive ones are not guilty and the unattractive ones are guilty.
