At the risk of derailing this thread, a classic player meltdown was the 1954 Cotton Bowl with Alabama player Tommy Lewis ran off the sidelines to tackle Rice's Dicky Maegle.
I know it's "Coach Meltdowns," but I can't miss the opportunity to remind everyone that Alabama football is the worst!
