Yeah you’re right, Arkansas is an absolute juggernaut. 🤣
Penn St thought much the same way last weekend. UTs history is littered with games that we never should have lost but did. We aren't immune just because it's at home and Heupel is the coach. This isn't Georgia St , Rutgers or North Texas rolling in here. It's an SEC opponent. All league games need to be respected or we suffer the consequences.

Every team's history is littered with games they never should have lost but did. Every single one.

Of course...how stupid of me. Maybe last time down there 1999 with Shaun Alexander and that crazy good lineman they had where we won 21-7?
Yeah. Just did a look through and the last 5 top 10 matchups are:

2022 - 2 Bama @ 7 Tennessee(Vols win)
2016 - 1 Bama @ 9 Tennessee(Tide win)
1999 - 5 Tennessee @ 10 Bama(Vols win)
1996 - 7 Bama @ 6 Tennessee(Vols win)
1993 - 10 Tennessee @ 2 Bama(17-17 tie)

Criminal that this rivalry has seen so few top 10 matchups lately.

I don’t care about the points or the schedule. All I know is Team Hamas coached by Spurrier, Pruitt, Dooley, Kiffin and Butch and QB’ ed by Jeffrey Epstein vs. alabama means I’m pulling for the Muslims for a day. And NO blue font here.

Does anyone want a cool story?

My father was a professional bookmaker for 40 years. He was close friends with Frank Rosenthal “Lefty” a Jewish mobster that started the modern day bookmaking in Las Vegas in the mid seventies. Bookmaking started in the late forties but was modernized by Lefty. My father had an uncanny ability to set betting lines including halftime lines (his specialty) in football. He and Lefty would discuss all the lines on Friday for the upcoming games. My father had two phones one black and one red. The black phone was for small players and the red was for large players. Lefty would call numerous times during the games to ask my father what he was setting the halftime lines at. I spoke with Lefty dozens of times. Lefty was always so kind to me as a teenager. You could say my father set the lines in Vegas a lot because Lefty valued his opinion. A home game is worth 6 to 7 points not 3 as stated by someone earlier. So they see Bama as a 2.5 to 3.5 point favorite on a neutral field.

So was it exciting being the son of a bookmaker? No, it sucked due to the stress and that stress would get taken out on me. I guess that is why in my younger days I was a handful to deal with. Betting can be exciting but it can also be one’s downfall.

HFA is never 6-7 points…I mean you think Hogs are pick em in Fayetteville? That bama is -16 vs Mizzou in Tuscaloosa? Or that Hoosiers are -5 vs Oregon in Bloomington? That’s sorta crazy
