Israel vs Palestinians II

If this peace deal doesnt hold up, how will trump react? He seems to have a lot at stake here. I'm guessing if it were to fall apart in a few years he might send like our whole military over there to make a point.
I don't see it.

He hasn't been perfect but he seems to earnestly not like war, battles, conflicts, etc.

Donald Trump Announces Middle East Trip to Celebrate Gaza Peace Deal

Donald Trump confirmed Thursday that the deal for peace in Gaza has been reached and that he was planning to travel to the Middle East to celebrate.

'It will be a day of joy,' the President predicted, noting that the Israeli hostages held by Hamas 'should be released Monday or Tuesday.'

Trump said there were still discussions coordinating the release of the hostages.

He said: 'Getting them is a complicated process. I would rather not tell you what they have to do to get them. There are places you don't want to be.'

Trump revealed he would travel to the Middle East 'very soon' but that the timing and details were still being worked out.

'We are getting the hostages back on Tuesday, Monday or Tuesday,' Trump told his cabinet, saying the agreement will be signed in Egypt.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's security cabinet convened Thursday evening to approve the deal.

An Israel government official said a full ceasefire would begin 24 hours after approval, with Hamas then having 72 hours to return all hostages.

Israeli forces will withdraw to lines controlling about 53 percent of Gaza, Bedrosian added. The military said it's preparing for the hostages' return and redeployment.

Not at all. It's clear the ones being genocided should surrender, but I have my doubts Israel would stop even then.
Death and destruction will return. Some will blame Israel. Some will blame Hamas. They will both blame each other. Americans will fight about which is justified in their violence.

I just wish we could stop supporting, sending money and aid over there.

I agree with all of this. I just want to say that random Gazan children aren't responsible for Hamas, but the IDF gunning the children down will forever be responsible.

I have absolutely no soft spot for Islam, horrific religion. But murdering children for the sins of their fathers and inherited circumstances is no justification for slaughter.

I hate the spin that if you don't support Israel, you support Hamas. That's such an idiotic simple-minded take. I don't support child butchers so I hate both of them tbh.

But yes America first. Foreign aid should be practically disbanded at this point. It's all back door pocket lining and propaganda anyway.

but the real question is, do you listen to Bad Bunny?

You'll catch a little flack about Israel preying on children for slaughter (from some posters) but other than that as a standalone truth, I agree with much of your post.

Hamas Demanding Release Of Six 'Archterrorists' As Part Of Peace Deal - Including Plotter Behind Suicide Bombing Campaign, Terror Cell Chief And Assassination Mastermind

Hamas has demanded the release of six Palestinian 'archterrorists' held by Israel as part of historic Gaza ceasefire talks.

Israel views these prisoners as terrorist masterminds who murdered Israeli civilians and has refused to release them in past exchanges.

But it faces mounting pressure to end the war and bring back the remaining 48 hostages taken in Hamas' October 7, 2023, attack, around 20 of them believed to be alive.

Many Palestinians view the thousands of prisoners held by Israel as political prisoners or freedom fighters resisting decades of military occupation.

Israel fears history will repeat itself after it released senior Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar in a 2011 exchange. The long-serving prisoner was one of the main architects of the October 7 attack and went on to lead the militant group before he was killed by Israeli forces in Gaza last year.

The list of prisoners Hamas is demanding to be freed reportedly includes six archterrorists who are accused by Israel of being behind suicide bombing campaigns, political assassinations and widespread terror networks.

Marwan Barghouti

Founder of the Palestinian Fatah party and imprisoned since 2002, Barghouti is one of the most prominent Palestinian prisoners whose release is being sought by Hamas.

The imprisoned political leader led street protests and diplomatic initiatives until 2002, when he was imprisoned by Israel on charges of involvement in deadly attacks that resulted in the deaths of five people.

Ahmad Sa'adat

1760036072858.png
The leader of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, a small leftist faction with an armed wing, was accused of organizing the 2001 assassination of Israeli Tourism Minister Rehavam Zeevi, an ultranationalist who called for the mass expulsion of Palestinians.

Saadat and four PFLP activists directly involved in the killing were eventually arrested by Palestinian police.

Hassan Salameh

Hassan Salameh, a senior Hamas militant, was given 46 life sentences in 1997 stemming from the bombing of two commuter buses in Jerusalem and another attack that together killed and wounded dozens of people.

He led a series of revenge attacks after the assassination of Hamas’ chief bombmaker, Yahya Ayyash, in 1996.

Abdullah Barghouti

The Kuwait-born Barghouti, with no direct relation to Marwan Barghouti, was a senior Hamas bomb-maker and commander during the 2000 intifada who was implicated in several notorious attacks on Israeli civilians, mainly in Jerusalem.

An Israeli court handed him 67 life sentences in 2004 — the longest sentence handed down in the country’s history — after he was convicted of attacks that killed 66 people, including five Americans, and wounded more than 500.

Barghouti is currently serving 67 life-term sentences in Israeli prison

Now in his early 50s, he was convicted of making the bombs used in an attack at the Hebrew University in which five Americans and four Israelis were killed, a suicide bombing at a branch of the Sbarro pizzeria that killed 15 people, a suicide bombing at a cafe that left 11 dead and a triple bombing on Jerusalem’s Ben Yehuda pedestrian mall that killed 10.

Ibrahim Hamed

Ibrahim Hamed - the top West Bank commander of the Hamas military wing - was accused of planning suicide attacks that killed dozens of Israelis.

He was on Israel's most wanted list for eight years before he was captured in 2006.

Abbas al-Sayed

Abbas al-Sayed is a Hamas leader from Tulkarem sentenced to 35 consecutive life terms for masterminding the 2002 Park Hotel bombing in Netanya that killed 39 Israelis and injured 140 others.

If Israel had no purpose other than to wipe out the population of Gaza, the population of Gaza would already be wiped out.
People can argue (endlessly it appears) on the collateral damage of fighting Hamas but if Israel's goal was really genocide in Gaza as you say we'd already be looking back at how what was formerly knows as Gaza is just annexed Israeli territory.

Haven't said anything like that once. I referred to the IDF and the Israeli government. But of course the victim card comes out.
You just did bro.
Israel is an elected democracy. They don’t “Seem to have a way”. The political situation there is more diverse than here.
Don’t want someone to call you out, don’t say dumb ****.

No, bro I didn't say anything like "dirty Jews". Wtf are you going on about?

Youd have to attempt to make a point to call me out, which you've yet to do. And I'm completely fine with discourse, who's upset?

The United States is comprised of elected officials as well, that doesn't mean I agree with everything the government does. So no I'm not saying "dirty Jews" are responsible I specifically pointed to the IDF and the government. Quite simple reasoning you cant seem to follow.
