Think about how bad things would have to be in your life for your security blanket to be a five year old argument about wearing a 3 gram air filter over your mouth and nose a few times a day.

I recommend you and him continue to wear your dirty face diapers, that is how we identify the ones that have the issues. Of course, you could go back to promoting russia gate like you were doing.

18g for a surgical mask seems high to me, but I’m basing it off of my recollection and weighing coffee beans (before I’ve had my morning coffee) so very low confidence interval. Sounds like you wear one for work. Or to let people know you have issues.*

The “almost nothing” nature of the mask was always my hangup with the people who balked at it, hence the weight reference.

Its the same as trying to suggest someone wear a tin foil hat. Its not the weight that is the problem here.

You are making it about inconvenience but it has nothing to do with that, you are a nut.

It doesn't do that either. You are carrying a dirty diaper around and no its not going to stop that either. Its like saying I will put a screen door on a submarine to keep the air in. Masks are good for keep substances like snot, spit, food material, bacteria, etc. from say entering a open capacity during surgery. The aliens in War of the Worlds would have still all died if you wore a mask. And if everyone wears a mask, you were going to get covid and you are going to get a cold.
